Gemma ditches her high-flying job and returns to Oxford to follow her dream: opening a traditional English tearoom serving warm buttery scones with jam and clotted cream… Only problem is–murder is the first thing on the menu and Gemma is the key suspect! And the only people Gemma can turn to for help are four nosy old ladies from her local Cotswolds village – not to mention a cheeky little tabby cat named Muesli.
Curse of the Cobra
Fr. “Raff” Rafferty, a former NYPD cop, has been assigned by his bishop to an orphanage in India from which young girls have been mysteriously disappearing. Complications arise at a sacred Hindu ceremony in which a statue of the god Shiva, whose third eye is the world’s largest ruby, is ritually bathed in the sacred lake by a revered holy man. When the holy man is murdered and the ruby stolen during the ceremony, Raff promises the beleaguered Maharajah that he will search for the holy man’s killer, recover the ruby and find the missing girls.
